Registration Procedures

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School accepts new student applications year-round but prospective families are encouraged to apply early.  Once a student has been accepted, you will receive a phone call from the administrative office.  There is a book fee of $175.00 per student and a $10.00 PTO fee per family due at registration.  The first payment is due at registration and all subsequent payments are due on the 10th of each month.  A late fee of $20.00 will be charged if payments are not received by the 25th of each month.


Any student entering Pre-K must have an immunization record, completed lead screening form and Birth Certificate at registration.  Students entering Kindergarten must have a Diocesan Registration Form, Directory Form, Health Exam signed by a parent with completed immunizations, Vision Exam, Lead Screening, Birth Certificate, Baptismal Record, and Dental Exam dated after March 15 of the previous year.  Students entering 2nd grade must have a Dental Exam turned in no later than May 1st of the upcoming school year.  Students entering 6th grade must have a completed Health Exam at the time of registration with completed immunization information.

Re-enrollment for current families occurs during April 15-May 15 each year prior to the new school year.  Families who do not register at this time will forfeit enrollment spaces for their children as registration occurs on a first come, first serve basis.  Current families who miss the deadline and have not made alternate arrangements with the administrative office are welcome to reapply for admission, although enrollment space cannot be guaranteed at that time.  Families with unpaid tuition or lunch balances will not be allowed to re-enroll for the upcoming school year until all balances are paid or arrangements made.  


The first day for school will be an 11:00 am early dismissal.  During the month of August, school will dismiss early at 2:00 pm.  Please note that there will always be a 2:00 pm early dismissal and free dress day on the FIRST Monday we are in session each month.
