Hi! My name is Miss Lori Sizemore and this will be my 7th year teaching at OLMC. This will be my fifth year teaching Third Grade.
I grew up in Herrin, Illinois where I attended Herrin public schools, from Tiger Paws through my senior year of high school in 2008. In December of 2012, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education (K-9) from McKendree University. I have a wonderful family that I love spending time with.
I adopted my loving puppy, Daphne seven years ago. She is a beagle mix and always full of energy. I recently adopted two kitties, Asher and Cooper. Providing them with a forever home has been very rewarding. My favorite hobby is bowling and my favorite subject is math. I enjoy watching baseball, football, volleyball and bowling. My favorite season is Fall and my favorite food is Mexican. I am excited for another fabulous school!

Meet Mrs. MaryEdna Russell
Hello, my name is MaryEdna Russell. I have the pleasure of teaching Third Grade here at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Regional Catholic School.
Every day brings adventure and eager participation with eight and nine year olds in the classroom. I find that one of the many rewards of teaching is sharing their excitement, curiosity and love of learning. Third grade brings advanced math skills, chapter books, novels, world studies and science inquiry. We dive a beit deeper into our Faith, spirituality, and church participation.
My hope is that children leave my class feeling they have grown academically, socially, and spiritually. I want them to be proud of what they have accomplished and feel they are an important part of the class, school and church community.
I attended the University of Illinois and completed my degree at Southern Illinois University. I graduated from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and returned to teach and see my children and grandchildren attend OLMC. Thank you for choosing Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Regional Catholic School!
