
School Committee is the primary fundraising organization for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School. It also provide funds for classroom incentives for the Accelerated Reader Program, and oversee the Labels for Education and Target Card fundraising programs. This group needs willing participants throughout the year to help with the various fundraising activities and planning. It is so important that parents help with these endeavors whenever possible. Parents may be contacted to be a 'liaison' between school committee events and activities and their child's classroom. School Committee meetings are held the third Monday of every month at 6:00 in the lower gymnasium. Involvement in these very important activities that directly effect the schools ability to operate should be seen as having 'hands-on' input to help guide the direction(s) of our school.
