Room Parents support the classroom teacher, involve classroom parents in school life, and act as a liaison between the school, teacher, and other classroom parents. Room Parents also assist with the coordination of parents for volunteer activities such as class parties, field trips, and classroom projects. At the beginning of each school year, we would appreciate a few parents in each classroom accepting the important role(s) of being a Room Parent Coordinator. These parents will work closely as a liaison between classroom families, the Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO), and school fundraising activities.
